How to find the answer

Post by NewsOnline on Fri Feb 03, 2012 4:21 pm

How to find the answer: Search [area of Republic of Texas] and find it was 389,166 square miles. Search for [area of United States] Find 3,794,083 square miles. At the search box, enter [ 389,166 / 3,794,083 ] to use Google Calculator. Find that the ratio is approximately .10, or around 10% of the total area of the current US.
