Keyword Proximity

Post by danial09 on Thu Sep 29, 2011 1:27 am

Keyword Proximity is applicable to nearly all parts of your website, not just the titles or articles or posts. It is a factor that influences how search engines find the content of your site, the meta tags, headlines, page title, and descriptions.

Try to avoid using filler words in between keyword phrases, such as “and”, “the”, “your”, etc. These get in the way of the true phrase you are optimising for. In the example above, the word “made” is actually a filler word in the first title because few people would perform a search for “custom made rod”. Instead, they would probably just put in custom rod, or custom fishing rod. Getting rid of additional, unnecessary words makes your online content more likely to be found.

Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between two or more keywords. In general, the closer the keywords are, the better.

Keyword proximity is the collaboration of the solidity of a keyword and key phrase and the size. So closeness looks at the place of the keyword and key phrase in the phrase and how often it's being used in that phrase and also considers the range between them.

Keyword proximity refers to how close together the words are. You might have a list of keywords relevant to your website that includes fishing pole, fishing equipment, tackle boxes, and custom fishing rods, for instance.

Keyword proximity means a no of other words used in between two key word like, My keyword is computer then "The computer is really good machine. Computer is essential part of our life." So, the keyword proximity is 4. As the proximity is high the benefit is also high. If your keyword is having very less proximity Like 2 or 3 then the Google will consider it as a black-hat seo.

Keyword proximity is the art of ensuring that keywords people searching appear near each other. Obviously keyword proximity is only relevant if you are optimizing for keyword phrases rather than single words.

Keyword proximity refers to the distance in space, as measured in the interior of keywords and phrases, including keywords without repetition and contextual relevance.

Keyword proximity measures the closeness between two keywords. In general, the more key words, the better.

For search engine optimization, the proximity of keywords or key words in a sentence is relative to each other and another is of great importance and forms the basis of using the right combination of words in page titles, headings, paragraphs and pages with content .
