How to find the answer

Post by NewsOnline on Thu Aug 18, 2011 1:47 pm

How to find the answer: Search [world record yearly snowfall]. In 1998-1999, Mount Baker in Washington had 1,140 inches of snow. Enter [1140 inches in feet] to convert to 95 feet. Search [world record yearly rainfall] and find that in 1860-1861, Cherrapunji, India, reported 1,042 inches of rain, or 86.83 feet.
